Jefferson, MO (April 11, 2022) – One woman was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Jefferson. At around 6:40 p.m., on April 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Route Z.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox were both traveling west on Route Z. As the vehicles approached the intersection of Jarvis Road, the equinox began to slow to make a right turn. For unknown reasons, the Tahoe crashed into the vehicle.
The driver of the Equinox, 42-year-old Jamie Pennington, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
