Jefferson, MO (April 7, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the Jefferson area. At around 1:15 p.m., on April 4, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Highway 30.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show that a 2012 Kia Optima and a 2003 Peterbilt Incomplete collided on the westbound side of Highway 30 near Little Brennan Road. The impact of the crash caused the Kia to spin around and crash into a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze.
The driver of the Kia, 53-year-old Kelly Schubert, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Mercy Hospital South for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
