Joplin, MO (April 7, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Tuesday evening in Jasper County left two women injured. At around 5:50 p.m., on April 5, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Karif Road.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show that a 2014 Subaru Forester and a 2008 Dodge Caravan collided on Karif Road just five miles north of Joplin. The incident caused moderate delays in the area after MSHP and firefighters closed off a portion of the roadway.
EMS rendered aid to 36-year-old Joy Nolan and 55-year-old Susan Floor at the scene of the accident. Both victims were transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
