Kansas City, MO (April 6, 2022) – A motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries following a traffic-related incident in Jackson County on Monday evening, April 4.
Just after 11:30 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a collision on Lee’s Summit Road.
Reports from MSHP show that a motorcyclist became involved in a collision on Lee’s Summit Road near East 49th Terrace South. The impact of the crash caused the rider, 24-year-old Morgan Lindsey, to be ejected from their vehicle. After landing on the road, Lindsey was struck by a 2016 Ford.
Lindsey suffered moderate injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to CenterPoint Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
