Lee’s Summit, MO (April 2, 2022) – One woman was left injured as a result of a two-vehicle accident in Jackson County on Thursday evening, March 31. At around 4:50 p.m., authorities were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 470.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between a 2006 Dodge Charger and a 2013 Kia occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 470 just north of Woods Chapel.
The incident resulted in injuries. EMS with Lee’s Summit Fire transported 45-year-old Kyla Porter to Centerpoint Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
