Lee’s Summit, MO (April 7, 2022) – Two people were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Jackson County on Tuesday evening, April 5. At around 5:40 p.m., authorities were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 470.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a 2009 Jeep and a 2009 Nissan were involved in a collision on the northbound side of Interstate 470 in the area near Northeast Strother Road.
The incident resulted in injuries. A 16-year-old female and 19-year-old Tanner Rose were both rendered aid at the scene. The juvenile was then transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
