Lee’s Summit, MO (April 4, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Jackson County left one teen injured. At around 6:55 p.m., on April 1, emergency crews were dispatched to the site of an auto wreck on Interstate 470.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2002 Chevrolet and a silver Honda CRV were involved in an accident on the southbound side of Interstate 470. The incident caused delays in the area of mile marker 15.6.
One 13-year-old female was injured in the accident. The victim was transported to Centerpoint Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
