Miller, MO (April 5, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in the Miller area left one person seriously injured. At around 10:25 a.m., on April 3, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Missouri State Route 17.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2007 Ford Fusion was stopped to make a left turn on Missouri State Route 17 just north of Bonnie Drive. For unknown reasons, it was struck in the rear by a 2017 Ford F-250.
The driver of the Fusion, 70-year-old Erma Pankey, sustained serious injuries in the accident. She was rushed to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
