Perry, MO (April 12, 2022) – Two people were injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Perry on Monday afternoon, April 11. At around 3:50 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a crash on Missouri State Route 51.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2013 Jeep Patriot was stopped on the northbound side of Missouri State Route 51 near the area of Perry County Road 944. For unknown reasons, a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck crashed into the rear of the Jeep.
Two people in the Jeep were injured. Perry County Ambulance transported 46-year-old Carrie Burgdorf and a 15-year-old male to Memorial Hospital in Chester for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
