Springfield, MO (April 11, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following an auto accident in the Springfield area. At around 12:50 p.m., on April 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the site of a crash on West Sunshine Street.
Reports provided by MSHP Trooper SP Richardson show that a 2014 Harley Davidson and a TCM Forklift were involved in a crash near 3980 West Sunshine Street. The incident caused the Harley’s driver to be ejected from her vehicle.
The rider, 18-year-old Justine Hughey, sustained moderate injuries in the accident. She was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for care.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
