St Charles, MO (April 30, 2022) – A multi-vehicle accident reported in the St Charles area ended in injuries. At around 4:25 p.m., on April 28, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 70.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2013 Ford F-150 were both stopped on Interstate 70 near Missouri State Route 79 due to traffic congestion. For unknown reasons, a 2022 Ford F-250 crashed into the rear of the Chevrolet. The impact caused the Chevrolet to crash into the F-150.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 20-year-old Gabriel Furr, sustained injuries in the accident. Furr was transported by St Charles County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in St Louis for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
