St Louis, MO (April 4, 2022) – One woman was left seriously injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the St Louis area on Sunday afternoon, April 3. At around 12:37 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Highway 367.
Reports provided by MSHP show that an unknown vehicle crashed into a 2012 Nissan Altima on Highway 367 in the area near Interstate 270. The impact of the crash caused the Nissan to crash into a 2016 Toyota Corolla.
The driver of the Toyota, 62-year-old Amanda Hughes, sustained serious injuries in the crash. She was rushed to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for emergency medical care by Christian Northeast EMS.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
