St Louis, MO (April 11, 2022) – An auto accident reported in the St Louis area ended in injuries. At around 10:35 p.m., on April 9, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 70.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a 2017 Jeep Patriot, a 2012 Ford Taurus, and a 2020 Hyundai Elantra collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 just west of Missouri State Route 141.
The impact of the crash caused the Ford to crash into the center median. The Hyundai then went off the right side of the roadway.
A total of three people were injured in this accident. EMS transported 26-year-old Megan Hickey to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for medical care. A second EMS transported 25-year-old Natasha Thomas to Mercy Hospital St Louis. A third EMS transported a 3-year-old male to Children’s Hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
