Sugar Creek, MO (April 7, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Jackson County left two people injured. At around 3:45 p.m., on April 6, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Route 291.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between a 2005 GMC Envoy and a 2011 Ford Escape occurred on the southbound side of Route 291 in the area of Cement City Road. The incident left both vehicles totaled, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
Two people in the Ford were injured. EMS transported 72-year-old Albert Grindstaff and 79-year-old Teresita Grindstaff to CenterPoint Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
