Swan City, MO (April 2, 2022) – One woman was left injured as a result of a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon. At around 3:20 p.m., on March 30, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an accident on Missouri State Route 76.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck and a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck collided on Missouri State Route 76 just five miles west of Forsyth.
The driver of the 2011 Ram was injured. The victim, 47-year-old Casey Alvarez, was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for care.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
