Sweet Springs, MO (April 7, 2022) – One man was left with serious injuries as a result of a truck crash in Saline County on Wednesday afternoon, April 6. At around 12:40 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 70.
Reports provided by MSHP show that a collision between a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a 2023 Freightliner occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 70. The incident caused delays in the area of mile marker 66.4.
The driver of the Dodge, 58-year-old James Miller of Warsaw, Missouri, sustained serious injuries. Miller was transported to CenterPoint Hospital where he underwent emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
