Versailles, MO (April 4, 2022) – Two people were left seriously injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Missouri State Route 5.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that at around 9:55 p.m., on April 1, a rear-end collision between a 2015 Chevrolet Impala and a 2009 Toyota Sienna occurred on Missouri State Route 5 just south of Clay Road.
The incident left both vehicles totaled, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
Two people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported 26-year-old Preston Jones-Klinefelter and 41-year-old Amber Jones to Lake Regional Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
