Warrensburg, MO (April 10, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Warrensburg area. At around 3:55 p.m., on April 8, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on US Highway 50.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2015 Kia Optima and a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze were involved in a crash on US Highway 50 just ¼-mile west of Missouri State Route 13.
The incident left one woman injured. EMS transported the victim, 59-year-old Kimberly Watts, to Western Missouri Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
