Willow Brook, MO (April 13, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Buchanan County left one woman injured. At around 12:24 a.m., on April 11, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 29.

Reports provided by local authorities show that a 2006 Merc was traveling on the northbound side of Interstate 29 when the vehicle struck a pedestrian just two miles north of Faucet, Missouri.

The pedestrian, 38-year-old Megan Mooney, sustained moderate injuries in the accident. She was transported to Mosaic Hospital St Joseph, Missouri for emergency medical care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
