Branson, MO – Five Injured in Auto Accident on Fall Creek Rd near Shady Dr

Branson, MO (August 16, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident occurred in Taney County that left several people injured. At around 7:30 p.m., on August 13, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an auto accident on Fall Creek Road.

Reports from local law enforcement show that a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2017 Mazda CX-9 collided on Fall Creek Road at the intersection of Shady Drive. The incident left both vehicles totaled.

Five people were injured as a result of this accident. The victims were identified as 82-year-old Paul Owings, 59-year-old Ronald Riley, 53-year-old Valerie Riley, 27-year-old Miranda Reeder, and a 2-year-old boy.

Owings was transported to Mercy Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. The other four victims were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

The crash remains under investigation.
