Fristoe, MO (August 17, 2022) – A motor vehicle crash reported in Benton County left one woman injured. At 12:30 p.m., on August 16, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a collision on US Highway 65.
Reports from local news sources show that a 2005 Ford F-150 and a 2022 Kia Telluride collided on the northbound side of US Highway 65 in the area just south of Day Road. The impact of the collision caused the Ford to go off the roadway and strike a tree. The incident caused disruptions throughout the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
The driver of the Ford, 34-year-old Mathilda Tarbet, suffered injuries in the accident. She was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for emergency care.
