Jefferson, MO (August 8, 2022) – One man from St. Louis, Missouri, was left injured following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening in Jefferson County. At around 4:08 p.m., on August 6, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash took place on Missouri State Route 141.
Emergency crews report that a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling through the intersection of Missouri State Route 141 and Schneider Drive when the driver failed to stop at a steady red traffic signal. As a result, the Chevrolet struck a 2014 Ford F450 pickup truck at the intersection. Both vehicles were required to be towed from the scene as a result of extensive damage.
The driver of the Ford, 48-year-old Pedro Gugierrez, was injured in the accident. Gugierrez, who is from St. Louis, Missouri, was transported to Mercy Hospital South by Rock Township Ambulance District, where he underwent emergency treatment.
The crash is under investigation at this time.
