Liberty Township, MO (August 2, 2022) – A crash reported in Clay County left two people injured on Sunday evening. At around 4:45 p.m., on July 31, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Missouri State Route 210.
Reports provided by Missouri State Highway Patrol’s trooper CD Karr show that a 2016 Audi and a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck collided on Missouri State Route 210. The crash caused delays on the westbound side of the roadway just west of Bridge A3090. The Missouri State Highway Patrol closed off multiple lanes of the roadway with the assistance of firefighters.
Two people in the Audi suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The victims, 32-year-old Brittany Odell and 44-year-old Adam Petersen, were both transported by liberty fire to liberty Hospital for the treatment of injuries.
The crash is under investigation at this time.
