Mindenmines, MO (August 4, 2022) – A crash that took place in Barton County on Wednesday morning has claimed one man’s life. At approximately 3:24 a.m., on August 3, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash that occurred on Southwest 60th Road.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper JD Leemasters show that a 2018 Subaru Outback was involved in a crash on Southwest 60th Road just 5 miles south of Mindenmines, Missouri. The impact of the collision sent the vehicle off the roadway, where he crashed into a tree and overturned.
A passenger in the Subaru, 19-year-old Tristan Davis, was fatally injured as a result of the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, 24-year-old Austin Vander-Meer, was transported to Freeman West by midflight for the treatment of serious injuries.
A second passenger in the vehicle, 21-year-old Kameron Reese, was transported to Via Christi by EMS.
