Monett, MO – Daniel Terry & Teen Injured in Auto Wreck on Route Z

Monett, MO (August 2, 2022) – A vehicle crash that took place in Berry County on Monday afternoon left two people injured. At around 2 p.m., on August 1, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Route Z.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports indicate that a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser was traveling on route Z, just 10 miles west of Monett, Missouri, when it experienced a tire blowout. The vehicle then became involved in a collision and ran off the roadway.

Two people who were inside the vehicle suffered injuries as a result of the crash. A 14-year-old female from Galena, Missouri, was transported by EMS to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, for the treatment of serious injuries.

A 26-year-old man, identified as Daniel Terry of Crane, Missouri, was transported by EMS to Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri, for the treatment of moderate injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at this time.
