Perry, MO (August 11, 2022) – A vehicle collision occurred in Perry County on Tuesday morning that left four people injured. At around 1110 a.m., on August 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to a crash on US Highway 61.

An investigation shows that a 2007 Honda CRV and a 2015 Dodge Journey collided on US Highway 61 at the intersection of Highway M. Both vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be removed from the scene.

Four people suffered injuries due to this crash. EMS transported 39-year-old Deza Rumbold, an eight-year-old female, and a 10-year-old female to Perry County Memorial Hospital for the treatment of injuries. The fourth victim, 32-year-old Christopher Bird, was transported to St. Francois County Medical Center for care.

The crash is under investigation at this time.
