St Charles, MO (August 20, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the St Charles area left one woman injured. At around 9:45 p.m., on August 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an auto accident on US Highway 61.
Authorities report that a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2020 Toyota Camry collided on the southbound side of US Highway 61 just north of Interstate 70. The incident caused moderate damage to the vehicles involved.
The driver of the Toyota, 45-year-old Inna Gortalum, was hurt in the crash. She was transported by St Charles County ambulance District to SSM Health St Joseph Hospital in Lake St Louis for further medical care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
