St Charles, MO (August 7, 2022) – A man and one young child suffered serious injuries following a motorcycle accident that occurred in St. Charles County. Just after 10 p.m., on August 6, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Missouri State Route 79.

Reports from Highway Patrol show that a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix and a 2013 Harley-Davidson Fatboy were both traveling northbound on Missouri state Route 79. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles became involved in a road rage incident near Vomund Road.

As a result, the two vehicles collided on the roadway. Both vehicles were moderately damaged due to the collision.

Two occupants on the motorcycle suffered serious injuries. St. Charles County ambulance District transported 45-year-old Gabe Von Nida and a 7-year-old girl to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for emergency medical treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at this time.
