Car Accidents in Missouri
Crashes across Missouri leave thousands of people harmed each month. In many cases, injured parties have to go through extensive medical care. Trying to deal with painful physical and emotional injuries can be quite challenging. Many victims struggle to move forward.
Unfortunately, we see many people harmed as a result of negligence. Some leading factors in crashes across our state include:
Speeding: Especially on highways, we see many people in a rush to make it to their destinations. As a result, drivers tend to travel at speeds that are above the posted limits. Drivers who are speeding are likely to lose control of their vehicle and not be able to stop in time to avoid a collision.
Intoxication; Although we have laws to prevent people from entering roadways while intoxicated, it just continues to be one of the most common factors in vehicle collisions across our state each year.
Distractions: We see more and more accidents take place as a result of inattention. Now that we see so many people with cell phones, is increasingly common to see drivers use them while behind the wheel. When motorists are texting or talking on their phones, they are not given the road ahead their full attention. As a result, they are likely to strike other vehicles on the roadway ahead.
No matter what type of negligence contributed to your accident, legal options may be available to help you move forward and get justice.
