St Roberts, MO (August 2, 2022) – A collision that occurred in Pulaski County left two women injured. At 6:08 p.m., on July 31, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Interstate 44.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports indicate that a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado and a 2017 Toyota Corolla were both stopped due to construction on Interstate 44 near mile marker 163. For unknown reasons, a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser crashed into the rear of the Chevrolet. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to crash into the rear of the Toyota. All three vehicles were required to be towed from the seed due to the extensive damage they suffered.
Two people who were involved in the crash suffered injuries and had to be transported to an area hospital. The victims were identified as 77-year-old Judy Bingham of Elyria, Ohio, and 59-year-old Anavel Gutierrez, of Farr, Texas. Both victims were transported by ambulance to Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla, Missouri.
The crash is under investigation at this time.
