Warrensburg, MO – Sharon Miller and Krysten Ford Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on US-50 near W Young St

Warrensburg, MO (August 11, 2022) – A collision reported in Johnson County left two women injured. At 7:10 a.m., on August 9, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on US Highway 50.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a crash between a 2017 Chevrolet Spark and a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica occurred on the eastbound side of US Highway 50. The crash blocked the highway near West Young Street.

Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Ron’s Towing. Police and firefighters worked to clear the scene for an extended period.

Both drivers were harmed in the crash. EMS transported 23-year-old Krysten Ford and 79-year-old Sharon Miller to Western Missouri Medical Center for further care.

The crash remains under investigation.
