Wellington, MO (August 12, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Wellington area left one person injured. At around 4:15 p.m., on August 11, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that an auto wreck occurred on Missouri State Route 224.
Reports from MSHP show that a 2008 Suzuki was traveling on Missouri State Route 224 when the vehicle crossed the center of the roadway and struck an eastbound pedestrian near Shady Lane.
The pedestrian, identified as 46-year-old Bhyshan Madan, suffered injuries in the accident. Madan was transported to Lafayette County Regional Medical Center in Lexington, Missouri, for medical care.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident at this time.
