Holland, MO (December 1, 2022) – Authorities in Pemiscot County responded to the scene of an accident that claimed the life of a 23-year-old woman from Little Rock, Arkansas, on Wednesday evening. On November 30, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash occurred on US Highway 61.
According to law enforcement, a 1995 GMC Sierra ended 2020 Subaru Crosstrek collided head-on after the driver of the Subaru crossed over the centerline of the roadway on US Highway 61 just four miles south of Holland, Missouri. Both vehicles are totaled in the crash.
A female victim from Little Rock, Arkansas, identified as 23-year-old Taylor Mosley, was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries. A second victim, 20-year-old Luke Southern of Steele, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries. He was airlifted and flown by Survival Flight to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, where he underwent emergency care.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
