Morgan, MO (December 3, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Morgan County on Saturday morning that left one man with significant injuries. At around 3:10 a.m., on December 3, the Missouri State Highway Patrol received a request to provide help on-site at a traffic crash on Missouri State Route 135.

According to law enforcement, a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado entered Missouri State Route 135 and crashed into a 2004 Subaru Forester just 31 feet from Blackberry Patch Road. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene to provide assistance.

The driver of the Subaru, 38-year-old Justin Schultz of Stover, Missouri, suffered severe injuries in the crash. He was transported by MidMo Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for emergency care.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
