Sarcoxie, MO – Emmanuel Lovell Killed & Eden Sims Injured in Auto Accident on MO-37 near County Rd 40

Sarcoxie, MO (December 1, 2022) – A traffic accident reported in Jasper County claimed the life of a 20-year-old man on Tuesday afternoon. Just after 345 p.m., on November 29, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash that took place on Missouri State Route 37.

According to law enforcement, a 2013 Fiat collided with a 2002 Ford F250 pickup truck on Missouri State Route 37 at the intersection of County Road 40. Both vehicles were severely damaged as a result of the crash. EMS responded to the scene of the accident to render aid to the victims.

A 19-year-old female involved in the crash, identified as Eden Sims of Sarcoxie, Missouri, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, for the treatment of injuries. The second victim, 20-year-old Emmanuelle Lovelle of Sarcoxie, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
