Car Accidents in Missouri

St Charles, MO – Child Injured in Crash on MO-79 near Old Route 79There are a few reasons why rear-end accidents happen. One of the most common reasons is distracted driving. When drivers are not paying attention to the road ahead of them, they may not see the car in front of them stopping or slowing down. This can lead to a rear-end collision.

Another common reason for rear-end accidents is following too closely to the car in front of you. If the car in front of you suddenly stops or slows down and you are following too closely, you will not have enough time to stop or slow down and may end up hitting the car in front of you.

Finally, speeding is another leading cause of rear-end accidents. If a driver is going too fast, they may not be able to stop in time if the car in front of them unexpectedly stops or slows down.

By understanding the common causes of rear-end accidents, drivers can take steps to avoid these collisions. If everyone would pay more attention to their driving and follow the speed limit, we would see a significant decrease in rear-end accidents on our roads.

If you have been involved in a rear-end accident and you suffered injuries, a St. Charles car accident lawyer can help you see compensation for your damages.
