St Charles, MO (December 7, 2022) – Emergency crews in St. Charles County were called to the site of a motor vehicle crash that left one man injured. At around 5:40 p.m., on December 6, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a traffic accident on Interstate 70.
According to law enforcement, a 2021 Toyota Camry was stopped on the westbound side of Interstate 70 near the exit for Zembuhl Road. The driver of a 1999 Toyota Camry was traveling too fast for wet road conditions. As a result, the vehicle was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision with the 2021 Toyota. The 1999 Toyota crashed into the rear of the second vehicle, leaving it severely damaged.
The driver of the 2021 Toyota, 34-year-old Trevor Loucks of St. Peters, Missouri, suffered injuries in the crash. He was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri, for the treatment of injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
We hope Trevor Loucks is able to recover quickly following this crash.

Rear-end accidents are some of the most common types of accidents on the road. They often occur when one driver is speeding and rear-ends another driver who is stopped or slowing down.
