St Francois, MO – Three Injured in Three-Vehicle Wreck on MO-221 near Henson Rd

St Francois, MO (December 9, 2022) – A vehicle crash took place in St Francois that left three people injured on Wednesday evening, December 7. The crash was reported at around 5:55 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet 1500 traveled across the center line and crashed their vehicle into a 1999 Chevrolet 3500 box truck. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to deflect off of the box truck and collide with a second 2008 Chevrolet 1500. All three vehicles were totaled in the crash.

Three people were left injured as a result of the crash. EMS responded to the scene and provided care to 28-year-old Jeremy Reinecke, 53-year-old James Deatrick, and 68-year-old Alice Hughes. Hughes was transported to Mercy Hospital South for the treatment of serious injuries. The other two victims were transported to Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri, for care.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
