St Louis, MO – Alicia King Injured in Four-Vehicle Wreck on I-70 near I-270

St Louis, MO (December 7, 2022) – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a traffic accident that took place in the St. Louis area that left one person injured. On December 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a traffic accident occurred on Interstate 70.

According to law enforcement, at around 3:15 p.m., a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck began to slow down while traveling on the westbound side of Interstate 70. The vehicle then slid into the rear of a 2004 Ford F150 pickup truck just west of Interstate 270.

A 2004 Ford F150 slowed down and slid into the rear of the 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. A 2017 Nissan Maxima then slid into the back of the back 2004 Ford.

All four vehicles were significantly damaged as a result of the crash.

One driver involved in the accident, 53-year-old Alicia King of St. Louis, Missouri, suffered serious injuries. King was transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, for the treatment of injuries.

The incident remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at this time.
