St Louis, MO – Three Injured in Auto Accident on I-70 near Jennings Station Rd

St Louis, MO (December 10, 2022) – A traffic accident occurred in the St Louis area that ended in injuries. At around 5:30 a.m., on December 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the site of a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 70.

According to law enforcement, a 2016 Kia Optima was traveling on the eastbound side of Interstate 71 the driver lost control of their vehicle. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the rear of the 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck just west of Jennings Station Road. Both vehicles went off the left side of the roadway. The two vehicles then collided with a guard rail. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash.

Three people were hurt as a result of this accident. The victims were identified as 19-year-old Alexis Westmoreland, 21-year-old Naejuan Fisher, and 54-year-old Issac Robinson. All three victims were transported to SSM Health Depaul Hospital, where they underwent treatment for their injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
