Warsaw, MO – Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck on US-65 near Route BB

Warsaw, MO (December 4, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Benton County that left three people injured. At around 4:30 p.m., on December 2, Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the site of a traffic incident that occurred on US Highway 65.

According to preliminary investigations, the driver of a 2000 Cadillac Catera entered the path of a 2022 Toyota Camry while traveling northbound on US Highway 65. The two vehicles collided head-on near Route BB. The impact of the crash sent the Toyota off the right side of the roadway. Both vehicles were totaled.

Three people suffered injuries due to the accident. The victims were identified as 39-year-old Amy Skinner, 61-year-old John Vogel, and Brantley Skinner. Brantley Skinner was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital, where he was treated for injuries. Vogel was transported via Warsaw EMS to the same hospital. Amy Skinner was transported to Bothwell Hospital and then flown to Research Medical Center, where she was provided further treatment for more serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
