Cuba, MO (February 28, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident in Crawford County sent two men to area hospitals with serious injuries on Saturday morning, February 26. At around 6:38 a.m., authorities were notified that a crash on Interstate 44 required assistance.
Preliminary investigations surrounding the accident show that a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 was involved in an accident on Interstate 44 near mile marker 206.8. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to cross both eastbound lanes and overturn.
Two people suffered serious injuries in the accident. North Crawford EMS transported 37-year-old Christopher Williams and 43-year-old Derrick Felton to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
