Franklin, MO (February 15, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries following an auto accident in Franklin on Saturday evening, February 13.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox and a 1998 Chevrolet 1500 collided while traveling north on southbound Missouri State Highway 47. The incident caused delays in the area of Maple Ridge Drive after emergency crews blocked off a portion of the roadway.
The driver of the Equinox, 27-year-old Ashley Elmore, sustained injuries in the accident. Elmore was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
