Humansville, MO (February 10, 2022) – Two children were airlifted to Cox South Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries following an auto accident in Polk County.
At around 1:45 p.m., on February 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 123.
Reports from authorities show that a 50CC dirt bike and a 2014 Chevrolet Captiva collided on Missouri State Route 123 in the area of East 360th Road.
The crash left two children injured. Air Ambulance transported a 7-year-old male and a 13-year-old male to Cox South Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
