Kansas City, MO (February 21, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Clay County left one man seriously injured. At around 10:10 a.m., on February 20, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 435.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2016 Dodge Dart was traveling north on Interstate 435 when the driver changed lanes from the middle to the right lane near mile marker 54. As the vehicle entered the right lane, it struck a 2011 Chevrolet. The impact of the crash sent both vehicles off the side of the road where the Chevrolet overturned.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 35-year-old Sheldon Bradley, sustained serious injuries in the crash. Bradley was transported to North Kansas City Hospital for emergency medical care.
