Kansas City, MO (February 17, 2022) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Platte County. At around 4 p.m., on February 14, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 29.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that an older white passenger vehicle crashed into the rear of a 2005 Toyota Solara on Interstate 29 just north of the 7.8-mile marker.
The impact of the crash caused the Toyota to strike a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu.
The driver of the Toyota, 19-year-old Colbin Howard, was injured in the accident.
