Kingdom City, MO – Clarence Guyton Loses Life in Crash on I-70 near MM 148.4

Kingdom City, MO (February 11, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported on Wednesday morning has claimed one man’s life in Callaway County. Just before 4:30 a.m., on February 9, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 70.

Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that 53-year-old Clarence Guyton was traveling in the area of eastbound Interstate 70 when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle near mile marker 148.8.

Guyton sustained severe injuries in the accident. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to render aid to the victim. However, he passed away at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
