Lee’s Summit, MO (February 17, 2022) – One person was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center with injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Monday evening in Jackson County. At around 5:25 p.m., on February 14, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 470.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between a 2014 Nissan and a 2010 Nissan occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 470 in the area just south of Woods Chapel Road.
One woman involved in the accident was injured. EMS transported 29-year-old Jennifer Moore to Centerpoint Medical Center where she was treated for undisclosed injuries.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
