Liberty, MO (February 6, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Clay County on Friday morning ended in injuries. At around 6:50 a.m., on February 4, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 35.
Reports from authorities show that a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic and a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado were both traveling south on Interstate 35 when they became involved in a crash near mile marker 17.6.
The driver of the Sonic, 25-year-old Caitlyn Johnson, sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Liberty Hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
