Pike, MO (February 26, 2022) – Two people were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident reported in Pike County on Thursday morning. At around 7:50 a.m., on February 24, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 54.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a 2005 Dodge Dakota was traveling east on US Highway 54 when his vehicle collided with a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado near Pike County Road 30.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured. EMS transported a 16-year-old male to Hannibal Regional Hospital. A second victim, 29-year-old Amber Keethler, was transported to Pike County Memorial Hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
